Counseling Clinic

Life can be difficult and sometimes may seem unbearable. The Frazer Counseling Clinic is an educational and intervention resource available to those dealing with a variety of life issues, including marital and family conflicts, depression, substance abuse, behavioral and educational issues, or any crisis that requires some perspective. The counselors in the clinic are professionally trained and licensed in the state of Alabama. Appointments can be made by calling (334)272-8622.

Counseling is not the only ministry in which the clinic is involved. We also sponsor the Noon Salad Luncheon which meets the second Tuesday of every month from September through May, in the main Fellowship Hall. Come early for a good seat. Cost is $4. Dr. Don Hill of our clinic talks on a variety of mental health topics.

Dr. Don Hill hosts “The Family Counselor” on WFRZ, Frazer Christian Television (UHF Channel 34, cable channel 13). The show is broadcast Tuesdays at 5 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 12:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 1 p.m. (All CST)

Fourth Thursday is a monthly senior adult event. Dr. Don Hill speaks to this group on a regular basis. A variety of support groups is facilitated by members of our staff as we strive to improve quality of life for the members of our community.

We have other resources available in the Counseling Clinic, including pamphlets, cassette tapes and videotapes on mental health topics. For more information, email terri.sasser@frazerumc.org
