The Inner City Ministry is located mainly in our Bell Street Church because it is located across from a major federal housing project. On Sunday afternoon volunteers from Frazer teach Sunday school, lead the music in the worship service and provide refreshments after the church service. During the week, volunteers from Frazer tutor elementary children at the church. Youth from the community who attended the tutoring program when they were in elementary school and are active in the church are paid to tutor younger children. This enables them to learn work skills and acquire money management skills while helping children from the community. We believe that rewards should come often, so children who have good attendance habits, good behavior and accomplish required volunteer work are taken on monthly field trips. On Wednesday nights during the school year, middle school and high school students are taken to Frazer to be tutored. After eating pizza, they are able to play in the gym before and after they are tutored.
