People only grow if they interact with God’s Word and with God’s people in a small group. The small group is important but the interaction is beyond just going to a class. It is about being engaged with the Word. This truth is the driving force behind the Discipleship Ministry. We want men and women to study the Bible and build real relationships with other Christians. 

We offer studies with different level of commitment and effort but our hope is always that that commitment and effort will increase as maturity and love for God increases. Get On Base is discipleship for men and Salt and Light groups are Word-based sharing groups for women. Both are training camps that teach individuals to get in the Word for themselves and then come together to share. The emphasis is on having a consistent quiet time and memorizing Scripture. There is a certain level of commitment but the groups can be joined at any time unlike some of the studies offered.
