United Methodist Women

“ and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another…” Hebrews 10:24-25

UMW is the original Women’s Ministry and now serves as the mission track. The purpose of the United Methodist Women is “To know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission.” It is made up of six Circles. Monthly meetings provide spiritual growth and enrichment to members through prayer, devotions, and Bible-centered programs. They participate in mission projects throughout the year and sponsor several church-wide events.

Maxine Beck Genesis Circle meets at 9:30 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month in homes.
Rainbow Circle meet at 10 a.m. the fourth Monday of each month at Frazer in the Parlor.
Friendship Circle meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month in homes.
Donna Grieshop Joy Circle meets at 7 p.m. the first Thursday of each month in homes.
Mission Circle meets at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of each month in homes.
Neos Abigail meets at 6:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at Frazer in the Parlor.  This is the newest Circle and is made up of young women--some with children and some without.

If you are interested in joining a Circle, contact the Women’s Ministry Office at susan.fisher@frazerumc.org. She will be glad to tell you what you need to know to find a group that is perfect for you. If you are not presently a UMW member, we earnestly invite YOU to come share in the Christian fellowship and support found only in a small group setting.
