Most of us will never understand the pressure caregivers of Alzheimer's and Dementia patients live with every day. However, Frazer want to provide support for these caregivers, and one of the ways we do this is through Dementia Day Care which meets every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Room 3106.
The purpose of Dementia Day Care is to provide some free time for providers and to provide socialization and stimulation for those who attend. This weekly event consists of time for socialization, singing, game playing and other activities. Everyone needs to see new faces and have new experiences, so it is beneficial for both caregivers and those who require care.
