Part of being a family means you help where you are needed. It also means you feel free to ask without shame or regret when you have needs. Frazer tries to make resources available for anyone who has a need.
Through our Clothes Closet, located in the Community Ministries Building, donated and handmade clothing is available for those who need it. We also help with school clothing in the fall and provide linens and bedding to victims of house fires. Currently the Clothes Closet is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9 am to noon. Persons visiting the Clothes Closet must have a referral from a social service agency.
Our Sewing Ministry meets every Wednesday morning to sew new clothes and mend others. We also have instructors who teach sewing.
Clothes take care of the outside but our bodies have less obvious needs. Frazer is involved in the Medical Outreach Ministry, 88 W. South Blvd., which provides for the health care needs of the indigent in Montgomery. Our members are involved in financial support and in providing staffing for the clinic which is open Monday through Friday.
The Food Pantry provides basic food items for those who need food. Frazer members donate food on a regular basis. If you have questions about the Food Pantry, call Robin at 272-8622, extension 3012.
